Dr. Gwen Taylor from Huntington Middle School has been honored with the John Lounsbury Middle-Level Leadership Award given to the Outstanding Middle-Level Leader for a lifetime of service at Middle-Level School Leadership!


Congratulations to the new GASSP Associate Executive Director

Dr. Alan Long -Executive Director and the Executive Board of GASSP is proud to announce the hiring of Mrs. Wanda Law to the position of Associate Executive Director of GASSP. The Executive Board voted on the recommendation of the Executive Director and accepted the recommendation of Mrs. Law.

Wanda is a long time member of GASSP, serving as Region Director, State Coordinator at the National Level, and President of GASSP while she was the Principal of North Gwinnett Middle School. She will be retiring in May. Mrs. Law will be assuming her duties as Associate Director on July 1 2022.

We are looking forward to her service for GASSP and looking forward to serving our Board and membership to take a great organization to new levels!
